Vaati is a villain, who actually is the second most reccuring villain in the Legend of Zelda serie, right behind Ganondorf, for who he worked in Four Swords Adventure. He appears as the main villain in the Four Swords serie, his origin being told in The Minish Cap, for Game Boy Advance, him being originally a Minish, who grew interested into the evil that exist in human's heart, and stole a Cap granting wishes, the Minish Cap, in order to become a powerful wizard. He latter dived Hyrule into chaos, took the place of the King and then finally claimed for himself a good part of the power of the Princess Zelda, becoming even more powerful than before. He was finally sealed in the Four Sword by the Hero chosen by the Goddesses, Link.
This nevertheless didn't mean Vaati's end, as he could escape two more time, always with the purpose to take over Hyrule, and apparently also having developped and interest into marrying the Princess Zelda. During the first time he was unsealed because of time, and at the last time Ganondorf helped to unseal him, for bringing their plan to work. Nevertheless, Vaati still lost, but is to reappear in a futur installment.
